There is a lot to update you on today so forgive Gramps if he gets carried away. Both girls have been off of oxygen since Friday! Both are taking bottles right and left - Madison is getting 3 bottles per day and Mackenzie is at 2 bottles per day.
Madison has been in a crib since Saturday and is off and running. Mackenzie was placed in a crib today to see how she does. Gramps is betting she does pretty good. Madison weighs 5 lbs., 0 ozs. (she was born at 2 lbs., 0 ozs.) and Mackenzie weighs 4 lbs., 8 ozs. (she was born at 1 lb., 11 ozs.). As a reminder, the girls were born July 30th at 26 weeks. The doctor is calling them 34 week babies at this point in time. They are doing great for 34 week babies. Most of the time they don't start bottle feeding until the 34th week and these girls have been chowing down for a while.

Oh my goodness...God is good!! To look at the first pictures of Cade holding Mackenzie and see just how tiny she was compared to the new pics is amazing! Thank you for the updates...keep them coming! Tell Megan and Cade hello and they look great too!! Melody
