Both babies are fighters! Madison has decided to cause a little trouble of her own. She's back on the ventilator (trouble getting rid of CO2) and may need a blood transfusion. Mackenzie may have to go back on the ventilator as well and has already had a blood transfusion. Both are eating 1 cc of milk every 6 hrs. Madison is down to 1 lb. 12 ounces and Mackenzie is now at 1 lb. 7 ounces. They say this weight loss is normal. The first brain scan turned out great - no hemorrhaging. They will do a second scan on day seven. Megan got out of hospital yesterday and is doing well. Her Aunt Judy and Uncle Jerry live about 15 minutes from hospital so she will have a place to stay and family to keep her company. Cade will be here until August 12th and then he will have to go back to San Angelo to go to work. Keep these two 24 year-olds in your prayers. They are dealing with a lot but are coming through with flying colors - we are very proud of them. The babies will be in hospital until October 31st. Thanks for all of the calls and emails.

You are all in our prayers! I was born premature, but they didn't have all the fancy equipment and look how I turned out! Well maybe not perfect, but happy....
