Madison and Mackenzie have had a good weekend! They moved locations in the NICU to a quieter, more private area. Madison weighs in at 1 lb 15 oz and is eating more now. Mackenzie's ventilator settings are being lowered...thank goodness, and she weighs 1 lb 15.6 oz.
Megan got to hold Madison last night for about 30 minutes. Megan was telling me about this on the phone...I could hear the joy in her voice. A mother holding her baby is usually taken for granted, but not in this case. Cade gets off work tonight at 11 and will head back to see his three M's...Megan, Madison, and Mackenzie. We are so proud of the way these two young parents have stepped up and handled this very stressful situation. They are our heroes!
We appreciate all of you who come here to check on Madison and Mackenzie...thank you for faithfully praying for the babies and all of the family. We feel your love!
