Day Seven - Gramps here, giving you an update. Madison and Mackenzie have had two good days in a row and seem to be getting acclimated to their new environment. The way they are stretching, it's obvious they are enjoying the "less crowded" accommodations. But there is a new problem - not with the girls but with Ganny Jan!
She walks into the NICU unit each time with three cameras. She looks like the "papparazi" and for a while she had a system where she could always tell, later, which girl was being photographed. Well, something happened to her system! Late last night, back at the house, she realized she had not a clue which was which. Thanks to Mom and Dad, who didn't miss a beat in saying, "That's Madison" or "That's Mackenzie", Janny finally got all of the pictures labeled and is now working on coming up with a new system.
For a while she had a great system when using her Flip Video camera - she would simply say the name of the baby she was videoing. This worked great until day three when she started calling them the wrong name! I told her not to worry because this would probably be the case for years to come!

It is so good to hear that Madison and Mackenzie are hanging in there! What FIGHTERS!!!! With the Lord above and wonderful parents and grandparents, those two girls are feeling the love. Keep updating us! Love, Sheree'
