Day 11 - Things are going good. Madison is in her "just keep on keeping on" mode. She is doing great. Mackenzie has decided to play "catch up" and actually outweighs Madison now by one ounce. The medicine for the heart murmur is working. The report this morning was that the doctor could not hear the murmur. If this holds up throughout the day, the surgery will not be done at this time.
Both babies have been off ventilator since Thursday night. Cade got to hold Madison while nurse was changing her bed and Megan got to hold Mackenzie. I'm sure pictures will be posted all over the blog as soon as Ganny Jan and Granny Ann can get them posted. The proud parents were nothing but one big "grin". It was a great moment.
Mackenzie is opening both eyes and Madison is on the verge. Jan and Ann swear the babies smiled at them. Grandma's are so silly!
Grandpa Kirk also got to come for a visit and I would like to report that all grandparents are doing fine - a little over the edge at times but doing fine.
