Well, I got to come by the hospital in San Antonio yesterday and visit with Madison and Mackenzie. After 8 days of not seeing them, I could tell a difference. They are definitely longer.
Madison continues to do good. Her feeding is being increased and she loves to sleep on her stomach, with her knees pulled up under her.
The doctor is taking Mackenzie off of the ventilator today or tomorrow and she will be closely monitored to see how she does. She has been off a couple of times before and stayed off for several days each time. The third time is going to be the charm! She looks great! They will start back on her feeding at the same time.
Cade was back for his first visit after having to go back to work. He got to hold Madison for 30 minutes. Megan said he did great and I'm sure Janny will put pictures up on the blog soon. Tomorrow will mark the girls "3 week anniversary."
All grandparents are making future plans when they get to "babysit!" After accidentally bumping Cade's pick-up twice with my car (while parking), I was told when we have the girls, Janny will have to drive! My plan worked - I will just have to entertain Madison and Mackenzie while Janny gets us to where we need to go.
